How secure is the adhesive draw mount compairing it to the screw mount?  I am in a rental apartment with a little boby girl with a strong grip.

Asked by: NC Baby Girl
Using the screws would be more secure, but as long as there is no residue on the cabinets when mounting the locks should work with just the adhesive. Thank you

Are there two pieces, the one you see in the picture and another piece that "catches" as the cabinet is closed?

Asked by: Kirk
Yes, there is a catch that mounts to the inside frame of the cabinet. Thank you

How do you remove the latches once not needed anymore.

Asked by: delsantro
Please use warm soapy water and gently wiggle the lock back and forth to loosen the adhesive. Once the lock is off you can use remove the remaining adhesive with the soapy water or a goo gone type product. Please spot check an area when using any adhesive remover. thank you,

Can this latch be installed horizontally, to the side of a drawer? There is no frame above the drawers so I'm wondering if it can be attached to the side.

Asked by: arierutgers
Yes, the S333 Cabinet and Drawer lock can be mounted on framed or frameless cabinets. On frameless cabinets the lock will be mounted to the side. Thank you,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No drilling in new cabinets! I was so excited when I found these locks from KidCo. We recently built a new house and I didn't want to drill holes into my brand new cabinets. I was even able to install these myself since no tools are required!
